SS Intalox Saddle

Stainless steel (SS) Intalox saddle is a widely used random packing element in mass transfer equipment such as distillation, absorption, and stripping columns. It represents an advanced development over earlier packings like Raschig rings and Berl saddles, combining improved efficiency with lower pressure drop.

 
Intalox saddle is a third-generation random packing designed to enhance gasliquid contact inside process towers. Its geometry combines the features of both ring-type and saddle-type packings, resulting in improved hydrodynamics and mass transfer perance.


The SS variant refers to stainless steel construction (commonly SS 304, SS 316, or SS 316L), which provides high strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability.
